  • We went there three years ago and I still remember the great lunch we had there. Great ingredients, carefully sourced (seasonal, local, etc...). The dishes were nicely presented and recipes are balanced with a pinch for sea and bitter flavours, elegantly balanced by acidity.

  • Great experience. A special and lovely atmosphere and, above all, miracles on a plate. I will remember the taste of their piglet and fish tartare for the rest of my life. Thank you for a wonderful gastronomic experience from Bretagne.

  • Words fail. It would be crude to attempt to bring to life the 'voyage of discovery' we were taken on over the course of our evening. Without a doubt the best food experience I have ever had. The attention to detail at every level is second to none. Almost one week on the flavours are still as clear as crystal in our memories. Exceptional.

  • Le Petit Hôtel du Grand Large will offer you a unique experience. They don’t serve a menu, the serve a culinary journey. It’s creative between modernity and tradition, it’s from Brittany and from elsewhere. It’s sustainable with everything fresh from the day. But more than that it’s delicious. The service is amazing. Well if there were 6 stars it would deserve it.

  • The setting is deceptively simple but very refined and full of natural light. The service is precise and attentive (minus a minor snafu when a server knocked off a glass on our table...). The food very well prepared and totally "locavore" locally sourced and high quality seafood plus vintage veggies from their own garden. Overall very enjoyable experience. An area of improvement: it could perhaps try and bring some more warmth to the service and treat regulars and non-regulars alike...

  • Nice ambiance in this restaurant, highly friendly service. Refined cuisine with prices matching quality. First course pasta was delicious, main course sea bass fillet prepared ikejime-style (Japanese method preserving freshness) was top! Liked the wine card with interesting discovery of winmaker Noëlla Morantin's "Les Pichiaux" sauvignon blanc - organic farming practice.

  • We went to the restaurant only. The food is great but we felt it was a bit overpriced compared to restaurants of the same level. We have the habit of visiting restaurants suggested by the Michelin guide so we understand the price range. Still, very nice seafood and extremely efficient staff. Menu is broad (listed like “fish” ) so you are always surprised when food arrives.

  • Only went to the restaurant for dinner. Had a great and delicious diner with friends. Staff was very friendly and well focused / dedicated to serve us The food has been quite good with a bit of disparity between dishes with some being absolutly incredible and close to 2 stars (lamgoustine creme & icecream) experience and some other missing a bit of maturity ( maki de harricots verts et foccacia avec sauces) while some other, being extremly good made it more traditional (mash potatoes). I wish i would have rate the place 5 stars and almost gave a 3 because of the wine selection. Quite disapointing... a tentative of bringing hidden / small unusual wines but over 5 bottles I appreciated only one. The others where too unusual, not well aligned to the food and with a curation too ambitious and missing the point. Some time, basic and conformity is probably a better choice...
